چکیده
Background – Vegetative and fruit characters of the Amazonian genus Dialypetalanthus point to a position in Rubiaceae. However, its floral morphology is so deviant that was often placed family own. Even relationships outside Gentianales were postulated. Current molecular phylogenetic studies firmly show belongs Aims This study aims understand idiosyncratic compare it with development two other Condamineeae genera as well Rubiaceae for which ontogenetic data are available. Material methods SEM LM based ontogeny fuscescens , Mussaendopsis beccariana Pogonopus exsertus . Results main conclusions Flowers develop stamen-corolla-calyx tube, can be considered morphological link between The polyandrous androecium originates from an annular intercalary meristem at adaxial side tube.

Floral structure and ontogeny of Syndiclis (Lauraceae)
Generic delimitation in the Beilschmiedia group of the Lauraceae remains ambiguous because flowering specimens of a few genera with confined distribution are poorly represented in herbaria, and a few floral characters important for taxonomy are still poorly known. Syndiclis is sporadically distributed in southwestern China, and is represented in the herbaria by only a few flowering specimens. W...
متن کاملFloral and inflorescence morphology and ontogeny in Beta vulgaris, with special emphasis on the ovary position.
BACKGROUND AND AIMS In spite of recent phylogenetic analyses for the Chenopodiaceae-Amaranthaceae complex, some morphological characters are not unambiguously interpreted, which raises homology questions. Therefore, ontogenetic investigations, emphasizing on 'bracteoles' in Atripliceae and flowers in Chenopodioideae, were conducted. This first paper presents original ontogenetic observations in...
متن کاملFloral Morphology and Phylogeny in the Hydrocharitaceae
The vascular anatomy of 13 of the 15 genera of the Hydrocharitaceae has been studied, and certain aspects of floral morphology are considered. The flowers of the family show a broad range of specialized structures combined with primitive characteristics. The origin of paired and single stamens is interpreted as probable modifications of fascicled stamens. Extreme reduction in the androccium is ...
متن کاملFloral ontogeny of Annonaceae: evidence for high variability in floral form.
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Annonaceae are one of the largest families of Magnoliales. This study investigates the comparative floral development of 15 species to understand the basis for evolutionary changes in the perianth, androecium and carpels and to provide additional characters for phylogenetic investigation. METHODS Floral ontogeny of 15 species from 12 genera is examined and described using ...
متن کاملFloral ontogeny of Ruteae (Rutaceae) and its systematic implications.
Floral development was investigated in Ruta graveolens and Psilopeganum sinense, representing two genera in the tribe Ruteae. Special attention was paid to the sequence of initiation of organ whorls in the androecium and gynoecium. The antepetalous stamens arise at the same level as the antesepalous stamens in both species. The carpels are antepetalous in both taxa, indicating the androecium in...
